MASTERCLASSES AT THE CONSERVATORY

From the world to our classroom

We want our students to be inspired by today’s top musicians so they can grow into the music of tomorrow.

Every year, the Ferrer-Salat Foundation and Conservatori del Liceu join forces to host two music festivals for the school: Liceu Jazz, which takes place on the fall, and Liceu Cambra during winter and spring. Liceu Jazz is centered around jazz and modern music and Liceu Cambra explores classical and contemporary styles. These two cicles celebrate music by hosting dozens of concerts and open masterclasses taught by the musics playing the concerts. The festivals have special classes for all the specialties offered by Liceu’s program: singing, piano, string quartet, jazz quartet and many more.

Knowledge as the base

We want our students to be inspired by today’s top musicians so they can grow into the music of tomorrow. With Liceu Jazz and Liceu Cambra, the students will not only see their idols in concert but they will also be able to work as their pupils for one day thanks to the masterclasses program.

Big names in the music scene go to the Liceu Conservatory to share music, knowledge and experience with young students today.

Both festivals are open to general public. Check the calendar and get your pass!
