Call open for the 2023-2024 Ferrer-Salat/Liceu Conservatory Scholarships for musical excellence

The call is open for the XIV edition of the Ferrer-Salat/Liceu Conservatory Scholarships, promoted by the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation in collaboration with the Liceu Conservatory.

The purpose of these scholarships is to promote the talent of young musicians and to highlight the degree of effort and commitment that reaching this level of studies entails. Thanks to the Ferrer-Salat scholarships, students are provided with the opportunity to develop their musical and interpretative skills in a top institution such as the Centre for Higher Education of the Liceu Conservatory, where expert and recognized professors offer a high-level training in a diverse, dynamic, and empowering environment. Scholarship holders will be able to pursue higher education in the fields of Performance (Classical and Contemporary Music, Jazz and Modern Music, Flamenco Guitar), Pedagogy or Composition, in addition to having an extensive program of masterclasses with prestigious and internationally renowned guest professors at their disposal.
In this call for applications, 15 scholarships will be granted to complete the four-year Higher Music Studies, at the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year. The selected students will have the opportunity to complete the higher education program with the support of the scholarship, provided that their artistic development meets the musical excellence criteria established by the Liceu Conservatory, year after year.
In addition to these four-year scholarships, 20 one-year excellence scholarships are also available to the rest of the students and will be awarded to those who show significant progress and an improvement compared to previous years.
The application deadline for the four-year scholarships is March 20, 2023. Students who wish to apply will find more information, the program’s scholarships, and the application form on the Liceu Conservatory’s website or by clicking on the following links:
